Due to Menno closing their school for this week, and into next week. The DH basketball games on Tuesday have been rescheduled for Saturday Feb 12th @Menno. Times for the games remain the same.
The Boys Basketball game against Canistota has been rescheduled into a doubleheader @Ethan on January 24th.
Due to Canistota closing school for the week due to Covid, we must POSTPONE the scheduled Boys Basketball Games on Friday. We are working on an official reschedule date and will provide that as soon as it is finalized!

8th Grade Career Fair

Wagner National Guard Armory, Wagner SD
Ethan will be participating in the 11th annual 8th Grade Career Fair. The goal of the Career Fair is to expose students to the various educational opportunities and career paths available to them. We will be bussing students to the event. Our school time slot is from 10:30-11:30am. We will leave the school at 9:15am and return around 1:30pm. Please send money with your student for lunch, as we will most likely get Subway or personal pizza’s before we return. Students are welcome to bring their own lunch as well. There will be a slip coming home with your student for you to sign and return if you do NOT want your student to travel to the fair. Thank you!

The boys and girls basketball bus will be leaving Ethan @11:30am Saturday morning for the games in Alexandria.
Hello, with the weather looking a little snowy here on Friday I wanted to update you on our contingency plans IF we would have to call off school or the boys basketball game vs. Hanson. In the event of a cancellation the boys basketball game vs. Hanson would be played as part of a double header in Alexandria on Saturday. The start times would be 12:30 JVGirls, 1:30JVBoys, 3:00 VGirls, and 4:30 VBoys. We will update you tomorrow with more information. I'm personally hoping for just a light dusting!

Attention all youth basketball players, ages 8-13 years old!! If you are interested in participating in the Huron Elks Hoopshoot, a free throw shooting contest, come to Huron Middle School Gym on January 8, 2022. The winners of this competition will move on to the State contest, February 5, in Pierre, SD. The best part is that it’s FREE! It will be open to all participants ages 8-13. Age bracket is based on contestant age as of April 1, 2022. Girls registration will begin at 9:00 A.M. Girls will begin shooting at 9:30 A.M. Girls awards will be handed out right after completion of the competition. Boys registration will begin at 10:00 A.M. The contest will begin at 10:30 A.M.
There will be no local hoop shoot this year, EVERYONE is eligible to compete in regions 🙂
