Great news!!! We WILL be able to offer both before and after school bus routes for the 2025-2026 school year! Current drivers have agreed to take on extra responsibilities and a former driver has agreed to come out of retirement and drive part-time. If you come into the main gym please do not move any scaffolding or equipment. It will be in there for a week or two.
Parents and Students, we are just shy of three weeks remaining until the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year! Summer projects are starting to wrap up and our staff members are excited to get the year started. Most have been in prepping their rooms for the first day. This message serves as a reminder and an update. Remember that we have a new cell phone policy starting this year. Essentially, cell phones will no longer be allowed in school unless a teacher is requesting it for classroom instruction. We will have the policy posted on our website so you can review it. We also have an update on bussing. We still have not been able to hire a full-time afternoon bus driver. Right now, we are considering four different options. Option 1 - run no bus routes for the 2025-2026 school year. Option 2 - run two morning bus routes only for the 2025-2026 school year. Option 3 - run two morning routes with two afternoon routes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only. Option 4 - run two morning routes with one single afternoon route only. If your student/s were on one of our bus routes last school year but are no longer in need of the service, please let us know as that could potentially factor into our decision. We will continue to work to provide both morning and night bus routes but want you to be prepared if we cannot make that happen. After a long and exciting week of FCCLA National Leadership Conference all of the results and awards have been handed out. Eliotte Kalnbach placed 3rd in the nation and earned a silver medal for her project in Level 1 Interpersonal Communication. Hadley Digmann earned a gold medal on her project in Level 1 Focus on Children. The Conference was a great experience and allowed the girls to network with other students from across the nation while having fun along the way! Congratulations to the Ethan FCCLA National qualifiers!
Both gyms and the weightroom will be open to the public again starting next Wednesday morning. Please be sure to check the gym use calendar before you come in to make sure they are available. Mr. Hawkins

See image for details, if you would plan to go to the Circus at the Turner County Fair end of July, the school has a free ticket for your child (12 and under). Please stop in the office at school. Office is open Mon-Thursdays 8-2:30PM.
Ethan Students Arrive in DC!
This morning, 26 9-12 grade Ethan students, accompanied by two teachers and ten parents, embarked on an exciting educational trip to our nation’s capital…Washington, D.C.! This journey has been two years in the making, as the group has worked hard to fundraise and prepare for this unforgettable experience.
Today’s itinerary included visits to the Smithsonian Museum, the WWII Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the 9/11 Pentagon Memorial. The students are already making incredible memories and learning so much about our country’s history.
We are proud of their efforts and grateful to everyone who supported their fundraising along the way. The students are having a fantastic time and representing Ethan with pride!
