Tuesday's (9/6) Junior High football game will start at 4:00 pm, not 4:30, in Menno against Jim River. The JV game will follow. Games will be live streamed on Menno's Live Ticket http://wolves.liveticket.tv/
It's time to start a new season of running club! Registration forms are being sent home to 3rd-6th grade girls this week. Please return forms to Mary Beyer's office by Tuesday.
Mentor applications for girls in 7th-12th are also in Mary B's office. Mentors are expected to come to every practice and have a positive, encouraging attitude to help our young runners.
Practices will be Mondays & Wednesdays at 6:50 a.m. at the Ethan Park. Our first practices next week will be Wednesday, Sept 7th and FRIDAY, Sept 9th (due to no school on Monday).

JV Football Players/Parents: We will not be playing in the Junior Varsity jamboree on Saturday in Flandreau.
Menu Change already for TOMORROW!! Spaghetti W/ Garlic Bread is for lunch. Sorry for the late notice, however Food Service is still having issues on getting items in this year!! We will update as soon as possible, please review new Menu calendar as other items has changed for August.
3rd through 12th grade Parents/Guardians - There has been an additional form added today that needs to filled out for each family! Home Language Survey is a state required form. Please have all forms sent the 1st day of school if you haven't already done so.

Due to the weather, there will be no Junior High football practice today (8/15). JH will need to bring both their practice and game jerseys to practice tomorrow (8/16) for pictures.

7-12 Parents/Guardians and Students:
High school students will be able to pick up their laptops while they are at school getting their class schedules on Thursday, August 10th and Friday, August 11th. Laptop pick up will be in the computer room and schedule is as follows:
Thursday, August 11th
Freshman 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Sophomores 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Friday, August 12th
Juniors 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Seniors 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Monday or Tuesday, August 15th-16th
7th & 8th Graders 1:00 – 3:00 PM
All 7-12 students will need to bring either $30 or an insurance form proving that their insurance covers a lost or stolen laptop, as well as the signed Acceptable Network and Internet Use Policy. They can bring the signed form and money with them when they pick up their laptop or on the first day of school.
The laptops have a warranty, but it does not cover if it is lost or stolen. To offset an occurrence, each student is required to either pay $30 or show proof of insurance that covers a lost or stolen laptop. If the laptop is missing or stolen, there will be a $150 charge to replace the laptop. If the laptop is intentionally damaged, the student will be required to reimburse the school for the full amount to repair or replace the damaged laptop.
The laptops are for education use only and I ask that as the parent or guardian you monitor your student’s use. If you have any questions or the scheduled pickup times don’t work for you, email me at andy.erickson@k12.sd.us.
