This is a reminder that the Ethan Junior High track athletes will NOT be traveling to the track meet today in Parkston. This is a varsity meet and only our varsity track athletes will be headed to Parkston today.
Please review your lunch account balance and make sure it is paid by the last day of school, May 19th. You can review your balance on https://family.wordwareinc.com/. The meals were free this year however additional/second items were not. Once you log in it will tell you the balance on your family account.

The government has a new broadband benefit included in the $1.9T Covid bill.
Here is a list of telco and internet providers that are participating in SD, but most everyone in this area should be covered by either their cell provider or internet provider.

One of the qualifiers is if your student receives (or is eligible to receive) free or reduced school lunches.All Ethan students get free lunches, every single Ethan School family would be eligible.
This is a $50 credit directly on your internet or cell phone bill each month.
Only one $50 credit per household.

Picture forms were sent home with track athletes yesterday. Team pictures will be taken tomorrow, May 12th, in Parkston. Please make sure to send forms to school with your students. Junior high track athletes will need to make sure to bring other clothes to change into as they will turn in their uniforms after pictures are taken. Congratulations to Kaden Klumb and Kody Klumb as they both broke the school record for 18 holes today at BonHomme Golf Course. Kaden now holds the school record with a 74 and Kody is right behind with a 76. Keep up the great work gentlemen!
The freshman leadership class is hosting a day of giving back to the Ethan community to show how much we appreciate the community and how much they do for us. Day of giving will be Wednesday, May 5th. The second-grade class is going to walk around writing on sidewalks/driveways. Ambush forms were sent out with the kids this week. Kindergarten through senior boys and girls are eligible. For the grade level portion, fill in the grade that your child will be in for the 2021-2022 school year. Forms can be turned into Jen Klumb in the preschool room. Money does not need to be sent until the first day of camp, unless desired.

Got to love SD weather!! JH/JV Golf Meet for (Tuesday) has been rescheduled to (Thursday). Varsity track meet for (Tuesday) has been Cancelled.
Today's JH Track Meet has been cancelled.
Ethan School will do a bike rodeo this year on May 12th. All activities will be outdoors! It will be “Bring your Bike to School Day”! We are looking for donations for two new bikes for GIVEAWAY, as well as helmets and big popsicles.
